Prada Shoes

Since the company was formed in 1913 by Mario Prada as a small leather goods shop in the heart of Milan, Prada has always offered a diverse range of leather goods of the highest quality. Even in the early days of business their goods were of such quality as to attract the interest of numerous eminent Italian noblemen as well as overseas accounts. In the early days, Prada were also one of the few Italian leather goods suppliers that enthusiastically offered English leather goods and trunks alongside goods of fine Italian leather.

As time and generations passed, new outlooks were adopted on the way business should be conducted and consequently new markets opened up to the Italian leather goods company. By discontinuing to import English goods, and setting their sites on revolutionizing the old-fashioned design of leather luggage in the 1970s, Prada rapidly grew, through the establishment on its House of Prada, in to a high-fashion label of world renown. Their design portfolio increased to include their signature women’s Prada shoes range, in addition to Prada handbags, totes, purses and a broader range of quality leather goods.

Prada products are still built with the founder’s philosophy of offering solidly wearing, practical goods that exhibit an air of luxury in mind. However, designers of modern Prada shoes have embraced and extended this original philosophy to bring to the shop windows and fashion runways shoes that impress year on year.

The key to Prada’s success in the shoe market has been their accessibility. For example, Prada sneakers retain their quality and high design without forsaking practicality. Although they exude an air of luxury to the eye, it isn’t until you slip in to a pair that you fully realize the level of comfort and craftsmanship that envelope your feet.

Since it’s humble early beginnings as a small leather goods outlet almost 100 years ago, Prada has always maintained it’s founders underlying design goals of practicality and luxury, goals that will lead it through the next 100 years and beyond.
